This morning Patricia Hewitt, Secretary of State for Health, announced
investment of £1m to support around ten to fifteen early social enterprise
pathfinder schemes, and invited applications to become pathfinders. This
investment is in addition to the White Paper commitment to establish a
social enterprise fund from April 2007.

We have been asked to circulate the application pack (letter and template
form) to interested parties. We will be putting these documents on our
website but as this information is literally hot off the press I wanted to
let you know asap hence this email.
