July 2007:  The RCN NP Competencies have been updated and the RCN Document on Nurse Practitioners will also be updated.  The current document stands until the update apart from the competency section which is superceded by the the new updated competencies.

If you have not received a Newsletter or information about the recent NMC consultation, then it is possible that you are no longer a member of the RCN NPA.  Please contact RCN Direct via http://www.rcn.org.uk/members/direct/  to complete the on-line form and make the RCN NPA your first choice of forum (this gives the forum increased voting powers etc at Congress).   You need to ensure that your forum choice is made every year when your RCN membership is renewed.
